With the latest version of ubot, 5.9.33, I'd like to know the status of the new browser too. I've been on 5.9.19 for some time now and still only use the old version of the browser. Main reason? Because it's faster. I use the jquery 2 base for a lot of things in my software builds and I've found that it can be slow, slow slow on version 39 of the embedded chrome.

Any news? I can see my hand is slowly but surely being forced towards the newer version for proper js and html 5 compatibility.

I am interested in this too.  I have been waiting for a long time for starting with the new version 5 (still working with 4.20), but it seems is not ready yet.  Shame!

Ok, I've done some testing and the chrome 49 version is still buggy unfortunately. A good test is to go to a site called steemit.com and try to drag the sign in button to the commands. Won't work. It actually causes the program to hang. Seems that version chrome 39 is the same in 5.9.19.

Luis, I use ubot 5 for everything in the chrome 21 browser. Not html 5 compliant, but it works good.
I've got literally 1,000s of customers on it.

I had the same problem with Steemit.com. Really annoying because it won't work with either browser :(

Hi.  Have you tried steemit using the latest ubot version?  Thanks.

Didn't work out for me, although it worked with another automation suite that I use. Oh well...

yes all v4 code works within v5 ubot studio.

but if you use v5 specific commands that are not in v4 then that wouldn't open in v4

so to answer yes you can open v4 inside v5

but limited v5 opens in v4

Thank you!!!

I am using the Community Edition and it was crashing every few minutes, many sites not working.. I am making a stock screener and many of the sites would not work... MarketWatch, FinViz, StockTwits, Google Finance... Nothing.

Rolled back to 21, works perfectly. Thanks again.

I am a new UBot user and began with V5 developer edition.  I am at the end of my rope.  I have the same issue as others posting here.  The 49 browser is shit and causes the app to crash and when it's not crashing it's hanging for minutes at a time with each node I push into it.  I would like to know if there are any alternative bot apps out there I should consider since I see this post has been going since last year and nothing seems to have yet been solved by the developers.

Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated.

I am also new with bot and ubot and using the dev version with 49 is really hard.

gs are workng well. especially the image clicking recognition, no way to click a good image with 49.

Has there been any progress on tightening up version 49 of the browser?

Well, I finally, after months, figured out why the new browser is slow. Turns out that anyone running Windows Defender will be impacted greatly by impacted by it. You will need to add in an exception for the ubot studio directory in the appsdata folder and it fixes the issue.

We did release an update in April that solved two issues that were reported widely. If there are any one other trackable issues, please make sure to add them to the tracker :)
