Private Proxies

I have a friend who pays monthly for 1k private proxies, and with those 1k proxies, he is able to provide up to 100k youtube views in one day. Can anyone explain how this is possible? He won't say how it's working for him, everyone has their secrets.

I'll assume he isn't providing 100k to a single video as it doesn't seem possible. It's probably 100k views spread out over several videos..

No he actually can do it to a single video, he said each proxy contains many ips. I don't understand that at all.

Doubt it for a few reasons.

 

1) Anyone who's experimented has run into the issue where the view count stops at 300 -> ways to supposedly avoid this are a diversity of likes/favorites/comments. Supposedly youtube now checks at some kind of capacity after all the script kiddies abused youtube to spread malware

2) 100,000 views in 24 hours is more than 4,000 views an hour, just because you're using a proxy doesn't mean you're not using your own bandwidth.

3) Proxy contains many ips? Maybe hes talking about subnets? Even then its a giant red flag because they're all coming from the same blocks. Even sites like lavabit will ban your subnets.

A proxy is an IP ... 1000 private proxies = 1000 IP addresses.

 

I agree with the General - I don't see how 1 ip could give 100 views to the same video in a single day, which is what it would take for 1k proxies to provide 100k views.

 

Now - if he is using those 1k proxies on all of those little youtube traffic exchange sites and generating beyond massive points to turn around and spend on views... he might get a pretty good bit of views, but I don't think 100k views. That really sounds more like a bot network, which is highly illegal in most countries.

The YouTube View Count stopping at 300 is so that YouTube can verify the Views, after less than 24 hours they jump from 300 to the amount added.

 

I'm sure he's just not telling me as he is my supplier and telling me would make him lose my business.

I can't remember how much private proxies are offhand but they are not cheap. So 1000 of them would be at least a grand,or more, in my uninformed opinion.
