I've bought followers before if you just want counts but really doesn't do jack as there is zero engagement. You have to be involved and offer something otherwise you just get numbers.

Yeah I dont want to buy followers but rather focus just on the niche based user. When I sit and watch my sccreen I see the same ole users floating by pushing a basic product and you can tell it is an automated tweet.

 

I was thinking of building a bot to filtering out those repetitive user accounts that are just blasters.

I think tweetattacks could help you. It's allowing you to follow users who dont have links in their latest tweets, this way you can filter all affiliates out. It also allows you to follow from search, so you can exclude tweets with urls and other words, and make following quite targeted.

I have a bot I built following a tutorial from a while back to follow and un-follow people every 5-10 minutes that others are watching whos following those people and end up following you.
