zonfar 1
what email service are you using? are you sure you are using the correct details for the mail account? And the correct port? http://screencast.com/t/NdF5bzUAVI have it typed out just as it should be server = "mail.hostname.com"username = "admin"password = "password" I have also tried "admin@hostname.com" for example, but that doesnt pop up with an error, and just doesn't send the email. I am just using the "send email command" I assume you mean is it the correct port by using the "connect to mail server" command, because you can set the port in there, although it only seems to let you choose pop3 as a connection type. when I use the connect mail server command I get the error "unable to connect to mail server"
LoWrIdErTJ - BotGuru 904
Shows the send mail working. Each server requires you send mail in specific ways. Some require full email for username some only the name on the email. Will have to check with your host to be sure. Will have to check with your host to be sure.I'm still not sure what I need to do to get this working, as I have tried both with full email or just username and neither work. I am supposed to be typing in "mail.hostname.com" instead of something like pop or smtp or anything else right? What else could I be doing wrong?
LoWrIdErTJ - BotGuru 904
You have to ask your hosting provider how its required for the authentication. How would you set it up in Outlook?thats exactly how you set it up in the send email node. I use mail.domain.comusing full email address for user and my password some want pop.domain.comsome want ip of the server all depends on the server setup.
JohnB 255
Try admin+hostname.comJohn
zonfar 1
Try admin+hostname.comJohnalright so I found listed in cpanel it says to use admin+hostname.com for Mail Server Username. I did this and left the server as "mail.hostname.com" and ran it and no errors appeared, although no mail was sent.

JohnB 255
POP3 with SSL won't be supported until the next update. It will most likely be pop.gmail.com though. John
