Hi There, Your ticket was answered twice on October 17th 2013 and October 18th 2013 and we have not received a response from you specifying your issue. I'm a bit worried you are not receiving our responses. Can you check your email and send a response back when you can so we know you are receiving our responses? The general gist is to not send other people scripts containing your private bot commands. If you compile with a private bot bank command and send someone a copy of the compiled bot, it will work fine, because it is not a script. If you send someone a script that uses a private bot bank command, then they will encounter errors, because that command is private and only you can edit it and access it in a script. Does that make sense?

You do not revert back if you choose not to subscribe to receive updates. You simply stay at the version you were eligible for before your free period of updates, support and access to the bot bank expired or was cancelled. If you are subscribed, you can receive the update to UBot 5. Feel free to let us know at support if you are still confused about the update process. We'd be happy to thoroughly clarify the updates process for anyone who needs more info at support.ubotstudio.com.

UBot 5 is not yet released. Upgrading does not come with an update to UBot 5. Please open a ticket at our support center if you have any more questions about upgrades, updates or your account. We'll be happy to clarify any confusion there

Oops. Seems to be some confusion here. Let me try to clear it up a bit. You do not need to sign up for updates to use the Developer edition. The reason why your version did not upgrade automatically is because your version is quite old, and needed to be upgraded manually. If you restart UBot Studio, you will notice that you are now upgraded to the Developer Edition. You can choose to either use the version we sent you without subscribing to updates, or you can subscribe to use the latest version. It is entirely up to you. Just to clarify, UBot 5 is an update. If you are subscribed, you will be able to receive the update to UBot 5.

To the OP and anyone else experiencing this issue. If you have reported the issue to support, chances are we are working on it. It doesn't benefit our support people nor our community to pretend there isn't an issue. Support's number 1 priority is to replicate the issue and squash whatever bug there is. Yes you will be able to open UBot 4 bots in UBot 5, but you will not be able to open UBot 5 bots in UBot 4, mostly because there will be features in UBot 5 that will not be available in UBot 4 ofcourse. If you have any other questions, let us know at support.ubotstudio.com
