Sanjeev 46
Fellow Ubotters? I am learning Ubot and Am really enjoying using this programming tool a lot! But I have also been spending time reading up on this forum.. and What I read in general kind of worries me. Now, that could be because I a new to Ubotstudio and do not understand the workings of the program intimately -like the pros do.Please lay my fears to rest..?1.My biggest one so far.. is that people find bots slow in speed as compared to their windows/.net etc based counterparts.Lacking full firepower ..Pure HTTP requests - sockets ?2.Ubotstudio is buggy - and even though you may have tested your bot before compiling and releasing it -you cannot be sure that it will perform correctly/as expected on your clients Computer (assuming his Os/hardware is not the issue). Thanks.
bestmacros 60
1. basically, it is correct since ubot performing in-browser automation, so it will always be slower than bot which works with api or so, but there are some plugins which allow you to work with api from ubot for example: http://www.ubotstudio.com/forum/index.php?/topic/12837-sell-http-post-plugin-crazy-bonuses-inside/?hl=plugin , also you can make it block images, javascript, css, flash greatly improving page loading time. 2. It is not so buggy as you describe and most issues are related to customer computer/setup/dot Net config
Aymen 385
If you are worried about speed , Ubot browser is not that slow , it is faster than many other automation softwares available in the market. If you need it to be faster , you may want to check my http post plugin and learn to handle http requests. For the bugs , if you are just starting up , i guarantee you won't notice much bugs , as the bugs are usually related to advanced usage of Ubot.I know Ubot is not perfect , but in 90% of the times it gets the job done !

James J 3
As far as speed is concerned that could be related to your internet connection.also you can turn of images flash css javascript and pop ups with ubot so youcan speed it up that way... then if you throw in TJ's multi threading logic you cando multiple actions with ubot at the same time. As far as bugs go there arent may that I am experiencing any more. I think the lasttime i submitted a ticke to support for a bug was about 4 months ago.To put it shortly when a bug is discovered AND the ubot team can reproduce theerror... that bug DIES (gets fixed) shortly there after in most cases ;-) James
