I've got a huge list of books, e-books, videos, and online series, so I'll be reading and watching, trying to understand, and applying this information to the world of UBot and IM, with results, feedback, and more. As I read through the literature, videos, tutorials, etc, your comments, suggestions, and experiences will be extremely valuable! I will work to learn and apply all the most popular (and not-so-popular) strategies and together, we'll try to figure out what works, what doesn't, and why. Thanks all. See you there. Why would the information be offered off site if in fact you are acting as part of the team wouldn't it be best used, expressed in the Internet marketing section of the forum? Besides the fact most videos, e-books, seminars, webinars, etc are all half ass productions, sales copy's, etc that normally are over used, no longer work, or only partially work. Seo and internet marketing is tried and tested results. Nothing you can buy and expect to succeed and will be a complete 100% waste of your time to look over such material unless it comes from a reliable source and within the last 30 days was made available. This I know from 14 years experience with marketing, advertising and SEO. Why not push the topics in the Internet marketing area of the forum, where you will have more activity then a Free web blog. And if you want to copy and paste to a blog of your own to offer up valuable information that is your choice at that point. But i think the main interest needs to start internally within the designated section myself. Don't get me wrong. I am sure your intentions are great and well meant. "You'll never learn from those people, they're just out to scam you," they say. "Sure it works for them, but they found it first, or they are already millionaires, etc..." It's true that a lot of marketing and sales tricks are just tricks. But here's the secret that I'm sharing.... I'm not talking about the latest SEO blackhat method to make $1000 tomorrow through FB viral ads. I'm not talking about "internet marketing" in that sense. I've done that, and it was like a drug. The high wore off pretty quick though. I've got a guru on my side - Seth Turin is advising me on what to read, because he's been through the same place. And luckily, he's been successful at it. That's part of where UBot comes from. The secret is to find educational lectures by psychologists who study Marketing, classic books about copywriting, and economics theories that are accurate for more than just a week. If you can find a good source for those then you are going to learn a lifetime's worth of knowledge in a few years. I think you'd really enjoy the sort of things that I'm learning, and that's why I'm posting it here. The kind of things that are worth learning carefully will last forever, if you can sift through to find them. I'm also posting off-site because the blog is not just for UBotters. I have friends in other places and would like to share knowledge between all of us, so that we can all (you included) be the best at what we do. The blog is so that I can organize my thoughts easier and eventually use that platform to bring people to this site, so that we can continue to grow UBot and the intelligent people who use it So, I think you will like what I'm doing.
