What tutorials would you see next?

Please submit your ideas here:

https://p79.wufoo.eu/forms/tutorial-request-form/

Please explain what challenges you have with that website. Don't submit websites just because you want to create a bot for a particular website and you are looking for a shortcut :-)

You have to explain what the exact challenge is you have with that website.

Looking forward to your ideas.

Cheers

Dan

My fiddler only capturing traffic from firefox using fiddler addons

for chrome and ubot it did not capture anything

anyone has same situation?

Ok here's a quick overview:

1. Fiddler works like a proxy server. When you enable fiddler it will run on port 8888.

2. It will act as system proxy on startup.

You can check the fiddler config in the fiddler menu:

fiddler1.PNG

So if you already use a proxy server in your system. Or if you have changed your pc settings, then this might not work.

If you have certain firewall or antivirus products, they might block that as well.

Certain google chrome plugins can block fiddler traffic or prevent chrome from using the system proxy.

Try to disable all google chrome plugins, restart chrome and try again.

Check your pc network settings to see if fiddler has changed the system proxy configuration. That's only active when fiddler is in capture mode:

The page is in german, but you probably can see the settings http=127.0.0.1:8888

fiddler2.PNG

It might be that you have other applications / services already listening on port 8888. Then you have to change the fiddler port in the fiddler configuration.

You need admin rights to change system proxy settings.

But that's about everything I could think of that could go wrong here. You have to ensure that fiddler is able to change the system proxy setting.

And that your application will use the proxy server. If your app doesn't pickup the system proxy automatically, then you have to configure that manually.

I hope that helps to find the issue.

Kindest regards

Dan

i just saw the login to blogger.com video where you are talking about clearing cookies (around 18:30 minutes)

my question is if we use multithreading environment then should we still have to use clear cookies command?

if we used it then would that will clearing the cookies for other accounts as well ?

or the cookies will automatically deleted when it is out of a thread?

thanks b4 Dan

PS : for those who has not purchasing this tutorial you missed alot of usefull or golden information here. These tutorials also explain about other 3rd party tools such as Aymen Socket Code Generator and HelloInsomnia regex tools better understanding

PPS : sorry for my bad english ;)

There are two things you have to be aware of here:

1. If you do NOT disable redirects with the http plugin, it could be, that after you load some of returned html code via load html, that you will be redirected to another site within the ubot browser.

What I meant in that video. Use the normal "Clear cookies" command (not the http plugin one). To clear cookies from the regular ubot browser. Just to ensure that the stuff you are seeing (successful logins for example) is really coming from the http plugin and not some stuff that is stored in the ubot browser from some test you did before. Just to be on the safe side.

2. In terms of http plugin cookies. At the moment you have to use Http container when you do threading. BUT... this has some known bugs. When you read through the http plugin thread, I reported some issues with http container and multithreading. So Aymen is working on an update here. Yesterday I tested a beta version of the new release. And http container will go away soon. Aymen will use thread ID (and some other magic). Then cookies / headers will be unique within a thread automatically. And there will be an additional command to reset cookies and headers. You can use that command to reset cookies and headers if you work without multithreading.

I will do another tutorial on this whole multithreading stuff as soon as the http plugin is fixed. It would be part of the tutorial videos already, but because of the issues it was not possible to do that.

Hope that helps a little bit? If not, just let me know and I try to explain it better :-)

Cheers

Aymen just released the http plugin update with a fix for the cookies issue.

So everyone who had issues with some sites or certain functions of a site. Just test it again.

It's very likely that the issues you had are related to wrong cookies.

Yeah.. Bought a professional microphone and watched couple of audio recording tutorials.

And I'm also recording the audio with Audacity now and not with Camtasia directly.
