elteejay 2
If a site you're making a script for suddenly has a portion made out of flash are you basically screwed?
UBotBuddy 331
No, so long as you are not trying to use that Flash in your bot.
Frank 177
Yea, this is something that the ubot team are working on. There is a pretty strong possibility that things with flash in them will require some sort of image recognition or the such. Here's an example from another site: http://www.iopus.com/imacros/help/index.htm?ir_flash_test_example.htm Frank
alcr 135
Depends on the site, but yes - you're pretty much screwed unless theres a html version available. An url would help
UBotBuddy 331
If the Dev team is working on some kind of implementation that would be awesome. The university where I work uses Flash forms. While they are nice it prevents me from automating them on any level. I would love to see this happen.
alcr 135
As far as I know, we're not at the moment - no. Might change in the future, but I can't promise anything obviously!
UBotBuddy 331
Nothing ventured nothing gained. It's low on my totem pole here at work as well. Buddy
