Its for the default open player.It can be spotify,winamp or mediaplayer.On my keyboard there's a play/pause, next/previous, mute and volume up/down.Im sure this is a global hook on windows not just spotify.Because when a youtube video is open on my browser and i hit the play button on my keyboard the youtube video will play.
