UBotBuddy 331
Does anyone use POP3 with GMail? If so, then what benefit does it give you over IMAP? Buddy

UBotBuddy 331
Yes, I am very familar with the commands themselves. I wanted to hear from those botters that use POP3 as opposed to IMAP. Or maybe there are those that use both. One benefit that I like is that it shows you the newest emails whereas IMAP just gives you all of them. However, using IMAP you can delete emails. POP3 you can't while using GMail. It's those little nuances that I am speaking about. Basically, the Tricks and work arounds that people use when dealing with GMail. Thanks! Buddy
abbas786 78
IMAP You Can view just message headers, and then choose which messages to download. Delete or move a message without having to download it. Download only the body of a message. Can View messages in all folders. Pop3 Have to download all messages at once. Must download all messages. Must download entire message, including attachments. Only view messages from the Inbox. IMAP is best if u are working on an account having 1000s of emails
