Computer Gecko 2
Hi All, I have created a script that asks for various information from the user (username, password, etc) Is there away to save that information AND repopulate the fields when they open the script again? Thanks, Ed
UBotBuddy 331
Yes there are a couple of different ways to do it. Depends on how you have structured your variable. Regular variable, a List or maybe a Table?
a2mateit 395
Check gogetta's thread here: http://www.ubotstudio.com/forum/index.php?/topic/9138-tip-save-load-users-data-with-the-click-of-a-button-source-included/page__p__46634 I believe this is exactly what you are looking for. Computer Gecko 2
Hi! Thanks so much for the response. Gogetta's sctipt is amazing. Too amazing! I am looking to do somethings much simpler. Save and Repopulate: 1. Domain address2. Username3. Password It will load the exact same info everytime unless the user changes it. Is there a simpler solution or is GoGetta's as easy as it gets? The part I want to get rid of in his code is having the select the project. Essentially this is one project. Thanks! LoWrIdErTJ - BotGuru 904
in that case then you can hard code the file to pull the data into the bot, stead of asking for it.
Computer Gecko 2
@LoWrldErTJ (dude you know how hard your username is to type Thanks. I'll have to play around and see how to get it to work.
