Hi there Ubot-er's

I just upgraded to EXbrowser 2.0. And I am getting a request from the X browser log in validation server. I have attached those files herein.  Does anybody know how to remove the first version of X browser so I can get past this validation server. Currently I am completely shut out of ubot and cannot get past this validation server.

Secondly does anybody have an email to get in touch with Dan? It also appears that his support page is not accepting support tickets. I have waited 15 minutes for a confirmation email from his support page after submitting a ticket and it has never arrived which would lead me to believe that his support page is not up and working.

I have looked in Q: I updated the plugin and still get the md5 / version error A: Very likely that the plugin is not in the correct directory. It has to be in your %appdata%\Ubot Studio\Plugins Folder

There is nothing in that DLL folder that looks like exbrowser DLL.

Any assistance that anyone could offer me that would help me out would be greatly appreciated .

Thank you

here is what i did

1. go to your ubot plugins and delete old exbrowser

2. then copy the next 2.2 version to that folder and now u will not get that message

3. then on load command add the license key from exbrowser email u have received and only then run the commands

ive had good customer support from dan yesterday

I do not want to upgrade. And I am locked out of Ubot entirely. Cannot remove Exbrowser because I cannot open ubot S. My old subscription email (last paid December 24th) does not appear on my account. I requested a new ticket and got a new account - without my subscription details in it. Very poor if you ask me. He should not be interfering with my Ubot License because he wants to sell a more expensive Exbrowser license. It is not his place.

Where is the Exbrowser folder you mention above? I do not see one to delete in the Program Files under Ubot 6

Sounds like you are having a lot of troubles. May i ask how you came to ubot? Did you come from BHW forum? Just curious.

The folder path you are looking for is in the above comment:%appdata%\Ubot Studio\Plugins Folder. Use file explorer to navigate to it and there you will see all the plugin .dll files, including ExBrowser.dll.

Regarding your problems -none of it is exbrowsers fault. I havent upgraded and have none of those issues.

One reason you will get locked out is by using your ubot license simultaneously on 2 or more computers. Another is that you arent using the correct login info, which seems more likely. Fortunately there is a lost password button on the login popup everyone sees when starting ubot studio.

Did you try that?

If you arent remembering the email, try searching your emmail addresses for emails from ubot studio.

Ubot is excellent software, but it takes time and patience to use.

Hi Guys, thanks for helping out.

This was sorted via support already.

But just as a general information:

1. OLD EXB Customers. And with old customers I mean customers who purchased for a one time price in 2017 / 2018.

They can still use EXB V1.x and still will be able to use for another 12 months. And they will also receive one more browser update in the near future.

Ever OLD customer will be moved to the new license server as well. So I can shut down that old linux based annoying thing very soon.

It still makes sense for those people to move to V2 today, because they will save money in the long run. Because today the discount code is still active.
But of course everyone can decide on their own.

2. So. if you purchased V1x with a subscription / monthly payment. You are NOT considered an old customer. So all V1 subscriptions have been canceled. And V1 subscription customers are not able to use V1 anymore. And the last month payment was refunded, depending on when the last payment was due.

Hope this clarifies who is considered an OLD customer and who can still use V1. and who can not!

PS: This is the only comment I will make about this here in the forum. If you're not happy with it or if you have questions, send me a support ticket and we will discuss this 1:1. I'm not discussing individual concerns in public.

Thanks a lot for all your support and understanding.

Kindest regards
Dan

hi dan,i just express my opinion.
you are breaking the business rules.
why?
1,the time since we buy exbrowser, we all see that it's a one time payment, but now you force us to upgrade with high expense,i see some gurus may not care about this, because they make money with this, but not all of us old customers.
2,you increase the fees by yourself, and force bot compiled also need subscription, sounds joke, ubotstudio even not like yours, you should know exbrowser is just a plugin of ubotstudio, without ubotstudio,it's nothing, now your subscription fees are much expensive than the ubotstudio itself, incredible!
3,you always say you can't let everybody satisfied, that's true,so you now change fees, increase charges, change rules to force old customers to pay for the new version, all by your part, so, how can we trust you in the near future?

anyway, i just express my thinking on this, you can still go your way, nowadays,we are not easy, ubotstudio still have some bugs,we have to buy many plugins cost much than ubotstudio to enhance our bot, and now force to subscribe a plugin, on the ubotstudio market exbrowser is the only plugin need subscription.

i thanks Nick,tj and some other kind people, who has help me a lot, offcause dan, you has also help others alot, but for exbrowser 2.0 charges and force old customer to upgrade and limit 12month,it's really a shit idea.

Please take a look at original exb thread in the forum. It's all clarified there. Appologize for the confusion.

Ouch!

Since I bought my license(?) in late 2017, would explain why I have not been locked out yet.

Didn't know you guys were really getting locked out -ah man... it's so cruel, especially since it takes a high level of trust to pay a one-time price...

If you guys need alternatives, you can get Aymens Selenium Browser plugin, which has a one-time price tag. You can use browser extensions with it and profiles, if I recall correctly -though I haven't used it in a while since all my projects right now are headless...

After reading the email this morning from Dan, about ending v1 support, it's clear he's put a gun to his customers heads.

And that's probably because he knows he has a unique plugin, and we have limited options.

Edit: Dan's post in the exbrowser sales thread helped a lot in regaining trust.

Refer to main exbrowser thread. No one is getting locked out and dan has fixed much of the things mentioned.
