Grabbing specific text from txt file

I'm really having a difficult time doing this.

I had create a get file and a button for it but how do I get a specific text from a txt file?

I would like to grab username from a line that has username:password.

And then password to fill in the password box. Then delete that line.

How would I do this?

The same problem here i had had created lots of accounts and the software i used is long gone now

and i'm trying to use the account but i still find it hard to do

Of course each text file will have a different format, so it entirely depends on that, but one way to do it is open the file, get $list or $text from file, and grab what you're looking for.
