I have been reading some posts on difficulties with iframes and wysiwyg editors. One solution would be to be able to tab from the previous field, most often the post title. Is there a simple way to do this or a way to emulate it?

Well tabbing down to it probably wont make it chosen.

But take a look at this tutorial - might be someting:

Hi I am still none-the-wiser about how to move from the title field of a blog into the text area, if the text area is in an iframe or the fckeditor or similar. Is there a tutorial on this somewhere? It would really be very useful.

Thanks.

Huh?

Sorry maybe I am not explaining myself very well.

I am trying to auto-fill a blog and having problems. Within Ubot selecting the content area is proving to be impossible for some of these sites e.g. vox, 3Step. I was wondering if someone has figured out how to do this. When you are using the site it's possible to use the tab key to jump from the title to the content field. I haven't found a work-around on this site.

Look in the user options on those sites, you may be able to switch from a rich text editor to a plain text editor.

I can't see that there is a setting for that. However, when I open the site in the Iron browser (Chrome) it displays a plain text editor. In IE it's a rich text editor. So ... it must be possible somehow.

Chrome/Safari do not support many javascript-based rich editors.

so is there a way in Ubot of emulating this, i.e. switching-off javascript support?

I believe that if you turn of javascript in the IE settings - it'll get turned off in UBot.

You could also try compiling the bot and see how the page reacts (compiling / new subwindow releases some javascripthooks)
