Aaron Nimocks 19
I havent found a reason to use send keys field chosen yet. With that said use Change Chosen Attribute instead. This is what you should use for 95% of everything. But then again this question may fall in the 5%

Gogetta 263
Hey Gogetta, I get the same thing where I type in text or use a variable. ;( Possible issue? It has to be something with Ubot not knowing you want the characters entered in while pressing the shift key. Because it does the same thing when you use an email address, "@" comes out as a "2", and so on. Another thing I noticed with Send Keys Field Chosen is when I spin my articles along with the <img tags, Ubot removes all of my html and leaves the whole article a mess. So, I don't know... ryan711 1
this needs to be worked out asap as some fields just don't work with change chosen attritube. Maybe something like a "shift" contant with brackets for the characters that need to be capitalized. Something like emailSHIFT{@}yahoo.com. It also wouldn't hurt to add control and alt functions. Seth Turin 223
yeah this is a known issue, and one that's surprisingly difficult to fix. I'll have to see specifically what you're trying to do to come up with a solution, but a lot of the time people use send keys field chosen for triggering some javascript. what you can do is have send keys chosen field type in the wrong text, just to trigger said javascript, and then use change chosen attribute to set the text right. try this, and if it doesn't work, let me know the situation specifically and we'll try to find a workaround. We are still trying to fix this as well, but it's difficult to do without capturing the keyboard, and doing that would interfere with the users other programs. we want to keep ubot running totally in the background. I'll keep you posted
pr0m 9
Thanks Seth I hope Ubot will be better each day and can have all commands working on frames & iframes too.
