Frank 177
I've begun to encounter users who start a compiled ubot program and it just sits in the task manager - loading. I've even created an empty ubot program and it too doesn't fully load up. Has anyone else seen this behavior before? It's not everywhere. I've literally got like 5 users over about 1000 this happens too. Frank
kate 5
maybe your 5 user has slow internet connectionas we know, ubot download files when first start. Its lot if youre using slow internet connection
Frank 177
Good thought but nope, I actually package the ubot files with my install. Frank
Brutal 164
Frank, do an install on a fresh machine and even though you are packaging your ubot files, see if ubot is still doing a file download anyway.
Code Docta (Nick C.) 638
Do they have the MS c++ distributions 20xx-2015?2015 may do the trick if not.
Varo 28
maybe something on your "on load" code ?
Frank 177
Ok, I bloody figured it out! Two things, first, the updater isn't showing when ubot needs to pull code. Second, 5.9.36 is looking for the browser directory 5.9.33 in the browser directory - thus it looks like the program hangs. Grrrrr Frank
Vladislav 2
I confirm, it is 5.9.33 dir that we need for some very unknown reason.. I too figured it out the hard way..
