Regex to Scrape # of Results

I am no expert in regex so after I figured this out I thought I would pass it along here.

 

If you are looking to scrape any number with a comma, without a comma, with a decimal or without a decimal this should do it for you.

 

[0-9,]+(?:\.[0-9]*)?

 

to scrape the decimal before a certain word use this:

 

[0-9,]+(?:\.[0-9]*)?(?= Results)

 

Notice the space between the equal sign and the word Results. Replace Results with whatever word is after your numbers you are trying to scrape.
