blumi40 222
http://www.base64-image.de/maybe that helps encode your image and bind it in your html code
Legend 181
I've found the best way to work with images is to upload them someplace... they will need to be uploaded eventually if you plan on distributing the bot anyway, so usually I do it that way. Seems I had trouble with local images in the past which is why I started doing it this way, it was a while ago...
darryl561 177
Thanks both of you for the advice. Might be best to upload them.
TheMentalist 4
I've had the most success uploading them elsewhere... for mulitple reasons. #1... I can change the graphic without deploying a new version. #2... I can see who is hitting the graphic and therefore, who is using my bot #3... It keeps the size of the bot lower
jimbourekas@yahoo.gr 1
I know it's an old thread but I thought that this may help someone. I have converted my images to Base64 (there are many free online tools) and then used the Base64 encoding of the picture instead of the actual file. I did this also for some background images at my UI Panels.
Frank 177
The best way is to think about the end in mind. Learn a good installer packaging program and insert the support files into it from square one. This way it works in development and on the customer pc. Little more work but worth it for long term success. Frank
