Hi, How do you get UBot to use the autocomplete function of search engines? My aim is to be able to input a word to a search engine text box and extract all of the autocomplete results, for both before and after the keyword. So, the bot would go to google, bing, or similar, and enter keyword a keyword b keyword c for the whole alphabet and download all of the autocomplete results to a text file. Similarly, it would do the same for: a keyword b keyword c keyword Please note that I wish to achieve this without using api because there are a number of places I want to extract results

Kari, I'm in the same boat - this can be quite tricky at first. I'm making progress so please be encouraged. A great place to start is to go through Frank's videos over at http://network.ubotstudio.com/learn/courses/ubot-studio-quick-start-with-frank-thomas/ I learnt a lot from those and I still do. He will often do something, like set an Alert, and you can see how it's done. You could also see if you could get some one to one help. Look around the forum or go through the ads over at http://network.ubotstudio.com/freelance/projects/ I hope that helps.

OK, so, here a few more details, which I hope will help The bot uploads a PDF to a website for publication. I've replaced all references to the site in question with the word hidden in case they are not impressed. The process differs at line 18 in the 2nd code [comment("click UPLOAD top right hand corner")] and then follows a slightly different process, thereafter. The first PDF uploaded uses the first set of code and all subsequent PDFs the second lot of code. How would you normally deal with this situation? 1st Code: clear cookies navigate("http://hidden.com/","Wait")

Hi, I'm working on a bot that uploads files to various sites. The process is different the first time that a file is uploaded to when subsequent files are uploaded, for certain sites. How do I set up my bot so that it can handle this? I imagine that I'd need to indicate that it is a first time upload on my UI but I don't know what to do, thereafter. John

I upgraded my PC to a hybrid SSD/old fashioned hard drive. The compromise works very well - much fast machine but not too expensive.

Just take care about choosing your development machine as you will likely be spending many hours using it. Physios are doing a great business from people who have hurt their neck from constantly looking down at a screen.....

Hi, How would you go about creating this simple program: 1. User inputs several keywords to a text area. 2. Program removes all spaces and line breaks and replaces them with a comma. 3. Program displays the new list of comma separated keywords within the same text area that the user used in 1. 4. User is able to copy the list of keywords to their clipboard. Some ideas about how I could get started creating this would be appreciated. John

Hi everyone, I'm making a bot that uploads files to a website. It went ok first time but the website changes the series of pages that the user goes through after the first file is uploaded. First time is one page then the second time it takes you to a summary of files already uploaded page. So, the bot will not run correctly after the first file has been used. I could simply upload the file manually first time and then use the bot or I could build two separate bots, but neither of those two alternatives seems very automated. Afraid I am the last person to come up with any ideas about "one click money makers"! I'm interested in some ideas that I can use to make bots whilst I learn and IM seems the obvious place.

I have been trying to think of quite simple Internet marketing related bot that does not involve keyword research. I've thought of a few things but they are all really quite complicated!
