  1. I am running the latest version of UBot. A client just reported he deleted all the compiled bot files, I send him because his anti-virus program flagged it as trojan. Guys ... this is not good for business! And i must say i am rellay pissed. Paid 1K for a dev version and the update fee to have a reliable awesome application. But the best bot ide is useless if the resulting files can NOT be used and trusted. I am better of creating bots the old fashioned way (in python) if this is not fixed soon. Seriously. Guys please focus on getting THIS MAJOR ISSUE resolved. Cheers Tony P.S. No seriou
  2. Very Good Kev! One thing that could improve your stability of the bots is to only trigger them when a new entry is made. You could make a request from your server that is storing the form data in the db and trigger the bot on your remote host to start as well. In this case you do not have to loop so much. Otherwise good thinking and thanks for sharing your experiences. Tony
  3. Hey ladies & gentlemen, I hope everyone is having a nice XMas time friends and family. I feel very sorry for not being that active in this forum anymore. True shame on me. I am currently hammered with help, consultancy & project requests from all kinds of people. I think this is a good thing (and I am glad people need my help and) and I am glad & thankful I can assist others ... but is a bad thing as well. Because I have no time to do the FUN stuff with UBot and teaching about it. Anyway .... here is the good news. We have found time to continue developing the "automation" sy
  4. Hey Kev, thanks for showing interest. @uniquemember thanks for replying on the post. However most of your questions are answered if you watch the video that is in public. The video is free and requires no optin. After watching it you will see what those tutorials are going to be about. The tutorials itself will not be free. However they will be pretty affordable as i will just schedule 1-2 days to create them (due lack of time (my end) and lack of interest (num of people signed up)). Please take the survey if you want to give your vote on how you would like the tutorials to look like.
  5. thx! :-) Hey Justin, thanks for your detailed survey answers! Very much appreciated! Yes you are right - it really will bring ubots to a new level! Thanks Dude! Thanks! @all also thanks to the others that completed the survey! Here is just some short numbers: - So far 14 people answered the survey! Thanks! - 12 people want a webinar style A (i create video, you ask question, i create video again) -> so this it will be! Considering the value, recording and source files the answers have been very, very different to each answer. There is really no way to create an average
  6. Thanks for the recommendation about the webinar software guys. Here is something exciting for most of you - at least I hope so. :-) I will try to schedule a tutorial in some way in the next time (as soon as I can). But in order to make sure i meet you guys expectation I created a survey. Please take a minute and fill out the survey on this page (no optin required): http://webboty.com/ubot-manager-total-ubot-automation/ubot-automation-survey/ Looking forward to your replies. cheers tony
  7. Thanks for the heads up guys! There seems to be some interest in it and i will be happy to share how it is done. I will not make it a big product though as this would be a big loss of resources (since only a few people interested) but a small tutorial/webinar. I promise! Unfortunately i have not even opened up the ubot app in the last month even once! This is because i am currently involved in other projects i have to finish first. Then there is time for fun stuff like this tutorial. In the mean time I was looking for some nice software doing realtime webinars and came across the webinar
  8. Yeaaaaa - lets get some mmore people intersted!!!! :-) Hi Saikat ... answering ur questions quickly: 1.) Think outside the box -> a.) you will be able to pass on variables the ubot should use b.) you can trigger the run of a bot from your website c.) you can offer bot services to people rather than handing out ubots d.) you can combine it with other webactions - so it is semi automated - rather than starting at a specific time. -> like someone is searching for something on your page. You than trigger the bot and return the result to the user. (similar to c) e.) you can keep trac
  9. Thanks for the kuddos. That you can not run ubot on a webserver is not true. Just make sure your webserver is running the OS windows and you are ready to go. ;-) Just choose windows as OS when signing up for you hosting plan on godaddy (even starts on level shared hosting), hostgator (min. dedicated server) etc. As a side note - forget about all the shared hosting plans - you should at least get a vps anyway! ;-) Thanks for the bump. I will send out some info about a potential webinar to the signed up users soon. However currently i am covered with work (1 client with extra wishe
  10. Thanks for the notes - it's a couple people more now - but not enough for creating a very professional tutorial series. However speaking to some uboters - I decided to create some kind of mini tutorial. We have not yet decided how to do it - but imaginable is a webinar or something like that. Updates will follow on the mailing list. cheers tony
  11. Awesome! Thank you for trying again and letting me know about it! cheers tony
  12. Hehehehe what a paradoxon - the bot guy would have been hammered by spam bots. :-D I am glad you decided to listen to the little angle on your shoulder. :-) Hmmm that is weird - am using a wp-plugin (qody optiner) - i just updated to the latest version. Feel free to try again. If it still does not work i would be more than happy if you can give me some details about your browser, os and javascript (enabled yes/no). Hi Justin, hmm weird - I actually see the exact thing that you mention is missing. I will attach a screenshot to this post. Please let me know if you are seeing someth
  13. Update: Hello everybody, just wanted to give a quick update to everyone that is watching this post. At the moment there are 9 people that are interested in UBot-Automation like this. This is not a lot. Thanks though to everyone that showed interest and signed up. :-) However I will wait for a little longer until I will make my final decision what to do about this project. I can imagine providing a quick and small video showing the basics. However since there is only a low number of people that want more info about this i will probably not create a professional video series showing ev
  14. Hi Bobby, You are welcome! I am glad this helped. The part where you execute javascript starts like: eval("Math.ceil({..... Cheers Tony P.S. I see you know some german :-) Are you from germany as well?
  15. Just checking quickly - at the first glance it looks like you guys are trying to execute some javascript without having navigated to a page before. See the page is being used as a "container" so if you have not navigated to a page before your javascript will not work or even produce an error. The solution might be to just navigate to whatever page you want at the begging when starting the bot and before doing all the "magic". The page where you navigate to does not really matter in this moment. hope that helps cheers tony P.S. In the studio you do not see this error because a page loa
  16. Glad you got it solved. :-) Considering the avatar. I am wondering about this too. alo experiencing this on my end. Shows something is uploaded - but it does not show the image itself.
  17. If the user interface of your bot is not showing up, it means your bot is running as a system service! All you have to do to make the bot show up is: when setting up the task in the scheduler, pick a user and enter the users password. The bot will then use the users account when being auto started. If you are logged in to your windows with that specific user at that time you will see the user interface appear. Now you can of course start testing why your bot crashes. hope that helps tony
  18. Hi Justin, I am glad you like the video. If you are interested please make sure you vote/subscribe to out "people interested list". ==> Make sure you are on the list. Considering your other question with the automatic monitoring and restarting. Yes, this is possible and something we are doing with bots already. Its very helpful and the reason why we implemented something like that. So you could set up a job that is checking for errors every 1 minute or 5 minutes or whatever you define. Then depending is error found - restarting the according job. Hehe your question just gave me anothe
  19. Its a good question - but if you are in just for the scripts available then ubot is nothing for you. Because using ubot you can create an unlimited variation of bots for anything you can think of. Dude the sky is the limit. :-) We have been programming bots for more than 4 years now - and just recently we added ubot studio to our arsenal of tools. cause ubot allowed us to get beyond some limits that traditional bot creation libraries that do not have an IE window emulator set. hope that helped :-)
  20. I think no-one except the search engines themselves can give you a guaranteed answer. And i guess they will not do so as their secret algorithm is their currency. However i have heard people saying a lot that, yes traffic does matter! One thing i can say for sure - if you have google analytics/adsense or something (google like) installed on your page. then google sees how active your users are. Google will take those metrics into account, because google knows if your site is "hot" or not considering to the people you try to target in your market. So unless you have a very nice page with
  21. Not totally know what you mean with entering something in the text box automatically. But you may check out the post here: UBot Automation Maybe this is something that could solve your problem. cheers tony
  22. when i was new to the forum i had the same problem. the reason was that the ubot team had not yet activated my account. So just send them a support ticket. they confirm that you are a paying member and they will activate your account (change some permission rights) and it should work. cheers tony
  23. First of - thanks for the great feedback guys. I am glad you like the video. Motivates me to produce more in future. Also thanks to everyone that subscribed so far. It is important for us to measure interest and the challenges. Hint ;-) - if you want to see more but you have not subscribed yet. Please do so. As said - the ubot market is a small niche right now and to see if it makes sense to take on the workload to produce more videos etc. we need to know about the number of people really interested. So every subscriber counts. ==> Vote For Your Interest Here Also let us know abo
  24. Hi guys, its Sunday and raining - so I spent the day in front of the computer doing a a bunch of things. Today I got another email from someone asking how to control & trigger ubots from a website. So as more and more people tend to ask me this and similar questions I thought - ok lets check if there are actually a bunch of people that want to know this. So I created a video (as I had not much time it is pretty amateurish though) where I show an engine that we use in our company to literally take our UBot projects to the next level. What I mean is full UBot automation, like: Mana
