Change Proxy Credentials not working...

UBot gurus out there - need some basic help.

 

I'm creating a bot that uses proxies I have purchased from proxybonanza (and therefore need a username / password)

 

So, my bot does the following:

1) Clear cookies (don't know if that's necessary)

2) Sets proxy credentials to match my proxybonanza user / password

3) Changes proxy to the proxybonanza proxy

4) Naviagtes to the website

 

But when I navigate, I get the windows security message box asking me to fill in the proxy's username / password.

 

What am I doing wrong?

 

I've even tried setting the credentials BOTH before AND after changing to the proxy, but I still get the message box.

 

Hopefully this is an easy fix.

Unfortunately, still no luck... I did find a workaround, but I would like to know how to make it work anyways for future projects.

 

For those that might need to know of a workaround, proxybonanza gives you the option of putting in your IP address and, so long as you run the bot from your IP, you don't need to provide credentials...

 

... That still doesn't help for other private proxies, etc - I would like to know how to use proxy credentials... PLEASE.

I am having this same problem, there seems to be a lack of documentation/information on private prcxies
