Abs* 12
HI Guys when i create bots -then many need the ability to use proxies - what I was thinking is instead of coding proxy support into each and every bot - if it would be possible to create the one bot which will work with the internet explorer settings and change proxies - The application can be loaded with a list of proxies and then the user can set the delay in secs before changing proxies - now im not sure how to configure this so that when the application changes the proxy it will change the proxy for all internet explorer browsers and not just the application browser - ive been looking into some java script to see if it can be done this way - but maybe java is not what's required thanks
UBotBuddy 331
You could build your proxy app and then Shell execute your other bot. Just a thought.

Abs* 12
hi buddy i actually found the following site http://www.eliteproxyswitcher.com/ its a free application and is great - it will allow you to load your own list of proxies - will test them for you - sort them by speed and anonymity and will also switch your proxies based on time in secs no need to code myself now
UBotBuddy 331
Nice find. I hope it works for you.
Net66 54
I've been using a similar tool http://www.proxyswitcher.com/ which works well. So far customers seem to be quite happy to add on a free piece of software to achieve the proxy features if they want it and it means my bots have one less thing to do and are smaller and easier to maintain. The biggest issue I have with ubot now is working with larger bots (frequent crashes, very slow load time) so the more I can strip out the better. Andy
Praney Behl 314
I have used http://www.proxyswitcher.com/ in the past. Its very effective, and also has a set of commands to call it from the shell command, checkout the help file once installed. Praney
Net66 54
Cool tip about calling it from the shell - thanks Praney! Andy
Mr.Q 0
well all this applications like proxiswitcher using http/https proxies , I was looking couple of days ago to help the coder who's working on my super-robot to use socks5 ... this option from ubot to use proxies is good for some peoples , but seriously is not really the kind of anonymity what I`m looking for , socks5 is way better from this point of view .... unfortunatelly I didn't find ( yet ) any sollution to fix this issue , if anyone have a better way to make my robot able to use socks5 ... please drop me one email or leave there some kind of contact , I`m willing to pay for this lol if is really need ! ... I wanted to make my robot to work I tough I`m dumb and I can't use it , well even if after I`ve hired a capable coder it's seems some of my requirements can't be filled . Actually I`m using proxifier to route my traffic thru the socks , but it's just pain in a$$ to do this manually ... can't be made a robot to copy/paste a line from a text file , then to do 2-3 clicks into some kind of application like proxifier or something similar ? ....
