ok, I really hate it when the simple things twist me around a bend and maybe one of you can give me a hand. I'd be super grateful.

 

I'm trying to figure out how to fill in the registration fields in digg.com. I've tried just about everything I know and nothing works. I'm trying very hard not to dig into the javascript to fire it as I'm thinking that I am over working some of these solutions.

 

Just a heads up, I'm running ie8, so it seems that the send key commands do nadda.

hmm...have you tried using the focus chosen command for the field you are trying to fill before you fill it?

With digg, you manually click the fields before you grab their attributes

I don't know Frank. They are filling normally for me with the change chosen attribute command.

I was finally able to get the fields to work properly only if I dragged them to the program section. No other method would work. You can fill them in, but they don't work. Where I'm getting stuck now is in the submission of diggs. Trying to select the categories works, but the page won't accept it when ubot makes the selection.

 

Grrrr. Darn javascript.
