Gogetta 263 Posted May 28, 2010 Report Share Posted May 28, 2010 Bulk Youtube Downloader Bot http://i45.tinypic.com/qoekqv.png I'm sharing part of my bot that I think will benefit a couple of people looking to quickly download videos and scrape the meta information on Youtube. All the tags and video locations are stored in a csv file, and can quickly be called using Imacros or ubot when uploading. If you know what your doing with any of these 2 softwares then you can also create your uploader to use the annotations or captions to place your links on top of your videos when uploading. Like I said this is just part of my complete script which does all of the downloading, watermarking, and uploading. Sorry guys i can not share it all. But I figure if you really need to automate the entire process you can find a way. I have tested this on multiple computers, and the only OS that seemed to have a problem was Windows XP. So if your running XP this may not work for you. Instructions: Download and extract the entire "Youtube Uploader" folder to your documents folder. Next open the folder and click on Youtube Downloader Bot. If your running Windows Vista or Windows 7 you may want to right click and run it as administrator to keep from getting the prompts. Once the bot is open you will see 2 scripts... Youtube Url Scraper: The Youtube Url Scraper can be used to quickly gather the url of videos to be downloaded. Extract & Download: This is where you can download and extract the meta information for each video. The bot should be pretty easy to figure out from here. So just run it and have fun. How did you hide the file menu so it can't even be clicked?
