If the connection is down you wouldn't be able to compile as the bots are compiled on Ubot servers and not locally (as far as I know). I saw this 522 error the other night, very frustrating but it doesn't happen often. Weird it happened twice in one week. I haven't seen a connection error myself in over a year (before that) so while it sucks it's pretty infrequent. If I understood correctly, it gets increased in server capacity because of increased load. So there should be no more unscheduled downtimes soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
