BigEfromDaBX 25
So If I log into a website with a proxy, are there any other ways of identifying my computer? Whether it be my computer name, my mac address etc? How much information can they actually see?
Edward_2 85
Yes You will want to use Linux and change all that first.

botmaker7 5
Cool. I thought I read somewhere about a computer ID HWID maybe? They can only get that if you installed a program or toolbar, malware or virus etc I had a kick ass infographic about the information you give away just by visiting a website and all the ways you can be tracked - sorry, wanted to share but I can't find it. Sanjeev 46
I think currently we cannot randomize screensize in Ubot Studio....
botmaker7 5
A couple of other ways webmasters may be able to spot automation: 1) Patterns. Webmasters could look over their server logs and if they see the exact same activity of pattern they could possibly tell it's bot activity. 2) Time. If you only spend 3 seconds filling all the information on a sign up page it's obviously been automated. I don't understand why nobody creation spam detection around stuff like this. That would be nice to know the website you're talking about Oh I just meant in general. Like if someone visits youtube, yahoo or facebook that's the type of info that's accessable to them. I think currently we cannot randomize screensize in Ubot Studio.... Thankfully that's one of the least important things. As long as you do all the others you should be good. TheBigWeb 40
I think if Java is enabled your mac address can be retrieved.
botmaker7 5
I think if Java is enabled your mac address can be retrieved. Maybe with a java drive by but I don't think by just visiting a website. I'm no expert by any means but with a mac address you can pretty much pinpoint someones location... if a webmaster could easily get this info it would be a major security breach for all visitors to the website. http://rumyittips.com/how-to-track-any-mac-address-geographical-location/
