LoWrIdErTJ - BotGuru 904
6k emails in outlook takes quite a while, so im assuming it would work the same way when loading them to ubot.
Pete 121
Yer i got them in the end but i'm not confident i downloaded the intire inboxI have a feeling i only got the first pageAs i have never setup a imap download before i just used the create table command and save that as a .txt fileBut i only got 170 confirmation links from 6k of emails it seems light to meTime for a manual review i think
LoWrIdErTJ - BotGuru 904
try it with your debugger menu open. watch how many are added to the table you create from the emails. and see how many emails are pulled in.then you know that when you loop through the table to pull the links you know how many are in the table to start with to confirm its working properly. that way when you go to use it compiled, you know it works in the development area, and will perform the same way as a compiled bot. Pete 121
try it with your debugger menu open.I let it run for over an hour then I got bored waitingSo I set up a email account with a different provider which has imap supportTested the imap download, worked okRegistered up 1000 new accounts and had the emails sent to the new email providerBut once again when I tried to down load these with the imap command it was so slow I aborted it, (time I waited 30 min’s)Login into the mail server showed the inbox total of 859 emails and unread mail as 731My conclusion is its faster to loop through a pop3 addressI don’t know if its ubot problem or the email providers but both where large company’s
Pete 121
Update for AOL you need to use port 933 with SLL, port 143 works for a few emails but not a big batch As most email providers seem to give two ports this is probably the same across the board
