  1. Hey all, So I have been a long time lurker of Ubot, just got it on sale for the Dev version. Now I am not a programmer at all I understand the principles but that is about it. I have a question related to programmers and non programmers like myself. I got this software so I can create simple bots for creating accounts, creating pages, adding content, creating posts etc. While looking through the forums it seems like you still need to know programming to do much with Ubot. Is this the case? If it is I might as well just go learn Python and build it all myself right? What about the updat
  2. I really love Ubot and I have been very successful in creating my bots without having any programming experience. I would like now to be able to create my own bots as well coding from scratch. I was wondering what language and platform I should learn. I have no programming experience except Ubot but I have been successful with Ubot and I am a fast learner. I have seen some articles saying that Python and IronPython are good choices. Others say VB.net. My goal is first to create bots like Ubot. Bots that run on my computer not web based apps. (I do eventually want to learn php as many of

    Quick Start for Developers

Hi Devs. I'm a programmer of 18 years, new to UBot Studio, but obviously I pick up new languages pretty easily. I see that UBot and all the tutorial videos are built for non-programmers, so the videos aren't worth my time. I've skimmed the .CHM helpfile, which is simple enough, but there are a few things I need help getting up to speed with. How to debug? Whatever the equivalent of Debug.Log() or MsgBox() or fwrite() or StatusBar.Text = "x" is around here. And how to see the current value of an attribute. (Anything easier than UI Stat Monitor?) And how to see what line you're up to in C
  5. Today it just occurred to me that this forum lacks an external resources library or reference guide of sorts, for people looking at automation from (maybe) different standpoints. So here is this thread - please feel free to add what you guys read on other places, where you learn stuff, news, etc... This is NOT the place to write extended how to's or explain tips & tricks in detail, per se, but rather just what the links are about, in a few words, followed by the resource link itself. If you want to explain a new technique or have a tip or trick to share, open your own thread in the a
  6. Hi! I am from a programming and html background. I'm used to working with compiled langauges (.NET) or sequential languages (PHP). As such, I'm having a difficult time figuring out how to do what I want to do in uBot. Here's what I want to do and please tell me if this is possible. 1) I want to have a UI (HTML UI) that has fields that allow the user to enter username/password, random delay, proxy and repetitions. It will also have a START button, a Stop button, a Save button and a Load button. 2) The user should be enter the information the first time and hit save and that saves it
