ubot has motivated me to learn programming. I hope to learn and become an expert in PHP, SQL, C# and Powershell. I have bought a nice book to learn php and mysql it's called "Head First PHP & MySQL". excellent book for total beginners imho

i am following tutorial video 6 the variable #firstname is meant to change every time i hit the run button according to the tutorial that i am following, but for some reason it doesn't change. is this is a bug in v5 or is the method different now from when the tutorial video was made. this is the code: reset account("Any") set(#firstname, $account data("First Name"), "Global") thnx guys

How many hours would you say it will take a beginner with no programming background to reach at least reasonable level of expertise with all of ubots features ?

i have made a bot for yell.com my bot runs good most of the time but i have a very weird intermittent problem basically even though i have a wait for page load inserted in my code for some odd reason the loop continues to cycle even though the elements are not visible in the browser and no items are being scraped but the loop keeps running as if its there. while this is happening i noticed the circular thing on the top right corner which is the loading icon keeps spinning. the confusion is even though i have "wait for page load" why is it looping through the rest of the items like clic

Too my amasement i just discovered my ISP changes my IP everytime i reboot my rooter I am in London UK does the same happen for you in the US ?

the first time it crashed had no error messages , the program just froze. the second time it crashed i got a browser error so had to close the application

After making my first bot i well was well happy, and to visually see my bot in action was just short of orgasmic. lol after scraping around a thousand urls with from yell.com i repeated the same process this time with another fresh list of postcodes after around 2 hours of scaping my bot just suddenly crashed. i felt gutted because my scraped urls wasn't saved. lessons learn't: input wait for page load wherever and whenever possible. Save/append to file after every loop iteration.

just bought Gsa spider and man it's just so fast it just wized through 4000 urls in no time

hi guys i know this may sound silly since i own ubot, i want to buy an email scraper. i own another software called GSA search engine ranker which is a great program so i thought i should just buy again from them instead of looking elswhere. whats your opinion, do u think it's a good program or are there more better email scrapers than gsa spider btw gsa spider also can scrape phone numbers thnx

hello freinds is there a way to trim the scraped urls's so i am left with only the root domain name i.e from http://www.domain.com/xyz http://www.domain.net/x/y/z to http://www.domain.com http://www.domain.net thnx in advance

this is my second day after purchasing ubot and man i am so happy today as i've created my first bot. yipeeee what my bot does: it inputs the word plumbers in yell.com it inputs a postcode from a list scrapes all the plumbers websites from the search results page clicks on the next button and scrapes more once its finished scraping for that postcode it inputs another postcode and does the same thing and saves the results to a file man iam so happy with my achievement. especialy because i used loops for the first time in my life
