Just letting know that the issue was with my hosting provider that blocks certain ip ranges. I've switched to another and things seem to work now.

I think it's my hosting provider that's blocking IP's because now I have a second customer that's having this problem out of the blue and he can't reach the ip while most people just can reach it. Anyone know if godaddy has a firewall in front of the websites? or any other hosting suggestion is also good.

Anyone know what the entrypoint is of ubot executables. I assumed it was "Main" But it seems that the settings are not being taken in...and I get a blank ubot window when running process.start works great, but when trying to load in memory : only a blank ubot screen without settings the reason I'm asking is because i'm trying to build a simple wrapper for ubot. anyone been in the same position?

I have a user that can't use his bot anymore and is getting messages that he can't reach licensing server. (He says he hasn't changed anything on his server, and I have no reason to not-believe him) He was able to use the software a week ago untill yesterday. I haven't changed anything in my settings, no updates and when I try to run it on windows 7 or 2008 I have no problems. Have you seen anything like this before ?

would have been good if we could create a project with limited time updates per license. for example, buy bot => get 6 months update if they want to keep getting updates after then we put them in a project with recurring payments.

Good basis to learn Ubot Basics, I bought this together with Ubot Studio. I'm a fully certified Professional Developer + certified trainer, recognized by Microsoft... This helped me to save a good amount of time in order to learn the syntax, worth the money... Few remarks: 1. Would be nice to have a bit more about functions in there, accepting parameters and return values and variable/List scopes. 2. now that there is a possibility to hide tabs, it will be easier to manage code in a modular manner. Not sure what was happening. seems to be working (somewhat) now. still a bit strange: have a global variable declared with the file name in... for examaple "test" but instead of saving in to "test.txt" it saves to ".txt"... gonna play around with it a bit more to figure it out.

Sometimes when I save a file it works like a charm (ex.: test.txt) . the file doens't even have to exist. But now Everytime I try to save nothing happens... and when I reopen Ubot... I get the message to recover the file that I tried to write to (test.txt)... whether it exists or not... Example: save to file("{$special folder("Application")}\\test.txt", %MyList) PS: the list %MyList exists Any idea's?

thanks for your answer, your solutions seems very nice for the price. I was looking in to affiliate possibilities and came across regnow, but suppose with this tool it's better to use jvzoo. Am going to build a .net application, to make my life easier, will combine it with ubot... so your solution will come in handy.

I'm interrested in buying ubot but I am wondering, how does one handle authentication of a bot once it is soled? Is this custom coded? Any possibilities in combining ubot with .net? thank you,
