Kreatus (Ubot Ninja) 422
I really cant figure it out how to successfully post an ad on craigslist. Every time the bot click the submit button the page just refresh and doesnt move on to the next step. I already tried $sendkeys, move mouse>left click, focus chosen but still doesnt work. It will only work when I manually typed in something on a textbox and let the bot hit the submit button. But that defeat the purpose of automation.. Any tips? Thanks

Kreatus (Ubot Ninja) 422
Hi TJ thanks but that doesnt work either. Does that bot move on to the next step at your end?
LoWrIdErTJ - BotGuru 904
yes. it should move on to the next step and finish the posting process. it utilizes the chose by attributechoose next sibling, or choose next child TJ

Kreatus (Ubot Ninja) 422
Tj your bot actually gave me an idea. I let the bot focus on a textbox and hit {tab} several times and it worked! +1 to you.
LoWrIdErTJ - BotGuru 904
Strange.. It doesnt for me. $choose next sibling serve as {TAB} right? no siblings and childs are in relation to next html tags. I have attached a new one that runs all the way through without modifying it.This is for the tampa area, hillsborro county. So you would have to modify it for the location your wanting to use it with this one attached starts at the very beginning and goes all the way through the process. firionicable 0
It would be much easier for me to post ads on craiglist manually then use a bot to do the whole process. I just can't seem to manage it to work properly.

oneano 8
@LoWrIdErTJ I mostly understand the bot, what 3.5 does that I cannot figure out in 4 is how to step from one element to the next.
LoWrIdErTJ - BotGuru 904
With v4 there are some nodes no longer available. Thats the main difference. but it is actually simplified more then how v3.515 was. If I get the time I will try to build out another setup for this..
