Read File With Url Not Working In Ubot X?

I'm trying to call $read file using a URL to a .txt file on my server, but it always shows blank - i tried the same code in v5 and it works correctly.

 

Does anyone else have this problem, or is this a known bug, or is it just my setup?

I think this function for read local files.

You can use GET request for read information.

Are you guys sure this should work this way?   I have never heard of this until I saw the ticket.  To me it sounds like an old flaw that just never got corrected.

If you read the Wiki you will see that it describes calling a URL and as an example, it also does call a remote URL.

Yup, works perfectly fine in 5, same code copied to 6 doesn't.
