Legend 181
I am looking for a regex expression to replace certain characters with certain other characters... for example replace the word "a" with the characters "$%^". The problem is I don't want to replace every instance of "a", just when it is the whole word. Another example is the word "able"... I don't want to replace the "able" in "table", just when it is the whole word. Does that make sense? Anyone have a solution? My copy of RegEx Buddy isn't helping me out here... Thanks! Kreatus (Ubot Ninja) 422
You can use \bable\b if you want to match only the word "able".
