Clickbank's encrypted links

Recommended Posts

I buy a lot of stuff online. I am a Clickbank affiliate. When I buy stuff, I want the purchases to auto-magically be under my clickbank_ID.

I want my bot to run silently in the background and do its thing; that is, to replace other Clickbank_affiliate_IDs with my own. I keep forgetting to do this manually when I buy stuff. And it is such a drag doing it manually too.

So, whenever I visit websites, the bot will search the page for href="http://*.hop.clickbank.net/" strings where the (*) is the encrypted code combining the vendor's website and the affiliate ID of the site I am on.

After the bot's page search is completed, I imagine I want the bot to silently/invisibly click the URL to get the vendor's unencrypted URL.

And finally, IF I do click on the affiliate's link, I want the bot to add "/?hop=my_clickbank_ID" to the end of the now unencrypted URL. That is, whenever in real life I do click any clickbank affiliate link, I hit the vendor site under my own ID.

Except for visual testing, I see no need for a UI. My confirmation that it's working fine would be seeing my ID in the browser address window.

I am not sure how to silently click the encrypted url to get the vendor's address. Any suggestions for this noob would be appreciated. Am I right in guessing this can be done?

Urh... This would mean that you would always have to browse in the IE window of UBot Studio...?

Ummm, the bot cannot run in the background on my computer? It can't work its magic when I click a link? Bots only run within Ubot Studio's browser or a UI included? Haha, now I am not sure :)

Hehe, I think you have misunderstood it a bit.

Take a look at this tutorial about a google-keyword scraper:

http://vimeo.com/6805724

Hmmm, I've been unable to access any tutorials at vimeo.com. I'm an Aussie living in China, and I am hoping it is not ..... ah, it is either the Great Firewall of China or Vimeo refusing to serve content to Chinese IP addys. Pity that. Seems I can get a visual on it via my vps in the states - is there audio I'm missing out on?

Thx for the lead.
