Some guys on the elite skype group found a fix for this. I saved the conversation in a txt file because i was sleeping when it happened. I haven't had time yet to go through it. I will test it myself and post here when I have time. I believe it involves compiling on 4.2.9 or 4.1.13 and getting rid of all your loop while commands and replacing them with loop and setting the number of times for it to loop. You also need to add a wait() either after every time it does something or after every loop (I forget). Like I said, I haven't had time to go through it yet, but this is top of my to do

Yeah, I was actually just working on this today. I've got a question, though, about the $substring. Does it count white spaces or how is this calculated? I'm assuming that because you want 140 characters or less, that it's for twitter. If I do this: set(#test2, $substring(#text, 0, 140), "Global") it doesn't work. The text in twitter will be too long. Even if I set it for 130 characters, sometimes it will still come out too long. I usually aim for 125 just to be safe. Why does it work this way, or can someone please explain how this works???

Because you already had it open as the top window. That works for me too. When I test it with a compiled bot it works fine, even if it's not the top active window. but in practice i am working on other things and i have it running in the background it doesn't close.

Sorry, but that's a really shitty work around, plus the stats will start over, so my customers will be confused why they had done something 1400 times and now it shows 0. How do these commands work? I have a bot on windows task manager and it's supposed to close after it runs. It never closes on it's own. I see it highlighted on my toolbar and that's how I know it needs to be closed. How can I get it to close itself?

Yeah, I was a bit confused by the title. This will definitely leave a trace. All it does is change the proxy. You need to change useragent and other browser properties. It would be cool if someone could share a massive list of user agents that work on most sites. This is hard to do, though. I have tried and some sites just act different/weird for each useragent. I even created a bot just to see if a useragent would work on a certain site because I had a list of something like a thousand user agents and I wanted to only keep the ones that worked.

Watch all the video, regardless of what you want to do first. It's good to know what's possible before you get started because there is always more than one way to accomplish a task. I just wanted to bump this thread and remind everyone that meter is awesome. He has spent several hours on skype with me helping me resolve an issue I was having with my licensing (it was no fault of ubotlocker, the problem was with my server). Seriously, this guy goes above and beyond. Probably the best customer service I have ever experienced.

LOL.. yeah, apparently we are just all making shit up. It's not a ram issue. People with 32gb have problems. I'm only working with 8gb, but even that should be more than enough. I don't think anyone in ubot dev actually uses ubot to build bots or anything. Because if they did, they would also see these same issues. Nope, there is no workaround. I sent in a support ticket over a week ago (it may have been 2 weeks now) with my ubot and .exe files where this is happening. Support is acting like it's the first they have heard of this and it's only happening to me, so it's not a priority for them. I was told that Eddie won't look at something for an hour and a half to see something freeze (why the f'*& not?!) and that the script has to be less than 20 lines for him to look at.
