Boy, am I confused? I would like to add some form of licencing to my bots, I would like this to be held fully on my own server and not reliant on anyone else. Will Meters standard package do this or do I need unleashed too? A link to what I need to purchase would be appreciated. TIA Clint

I am trying to build a bot, just for the hell of it really, for learning purposes. I want to be able to put an item into the search and return customer reviews, the problem is that the range of products could vary from childrens toys to adult toys so I think the only site to carry all types of reviews would be a google search. Am I aiming too high? can it be done? Thanks in advance. Clint

I have V5 Dev, It was buggy and I went back to 4.2.20, I haven't used either for some time and was excited to see that stealth was released. Are you saying that I should not bother upgrading to stealth or that it is ok but just not backward compatible with old bots? or is stealth ok if you don't use the new browser? can you still use headless if you don't use the new browser? I would have thought (was hoping) that, after such a long time away, Ubot would have reached a stable version. Clint -

Thanks MiriamMB, I have the dev version but haven't used it for a while, I have V5 but only used V4 because V5 was, at the time, pretty buggy. In your opinion is it worth me upgrading to stealth?, is it stable? will I see a difference over V4? Thanks for your interest. Clint

Hi all, I have not used Ubot for a while but, in the past, I have made some interesting bots. I have now decided to delve in again. I have the developer edition and currently running 5.0.9 although I haven't used that version, I stayed with V4.2.20 as people were saying that V5 was buggier than V4. My question is, Do I upgrade to stealth? It's not the money, it's just whether it will do a better job than V4. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Clint

I too would like to know the cost, I have dev version of Ubot V5.09 but only use V4 at the moment because V5 was so buggy, is V5 at a stage where it is worth upgrading and what will it cost me to do so? my sub has expired and I have been a dev owner since Jan 2014. Thank guys, Clint -
Hi all, I have the developer version of Ubot and the last time I updated was 5.09, I didn't use that one as it was constantly crashing so I stayed with V4. That was some time ago and I was wondering if now was a good time to upgrade? Is the latest version stable?, is it better than V4? Does anyone know how I go about upgrading? do I have to purchase the whole thing again? (not going to happen) or can I just buy an upgrade? I might just treat myself if it appears to be worth it. I see some are complaining that Seth appears to have abandoned Ubot, is that correct or is he just on holiday? I look

Has anyone found a way to send focus to a standard UI text box? It doesn't seem possible, at least I haven't found any mention of it. but It would be a nice thing to be able to do, just to refine a bot. Little details make a difference. Clint

Hi all, Please forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere but I have used the search and cannot find the answer. All I want to do is use the standard ui (not an html one) create a button that when the user clicks it opens a new browser window using the default browser . What I am trying to achieve is a program that displays one site and allows the user to open another site at the same time so they are able to copy and paste information from one site to the other. I don't mind if the second site is in a small widow at the side and the user has to switch from one to the other although I fe

Hi, I wonder if there is a way of disabling the browser so the bot cannot be seen working and replace it with an image, I am thinking of a gif anim of a timer until a loop finishes and then the bot stops with a "all done message" is this possible? I know how to do all the script, I just need to know if there is a way to replace the browser window with an image? Thanks in advance, Clint

Hi Abass, There is no question of me requesting a refund, I purchased on the understanding there were no refunds and I accept that, I am not someone who does that sort of thing. I am sure the plugin is going to be invaluable to me and am very happy with the cost. Thank you for all you have done and for making consideration to my request. The fact that the compiled bots do not call home is a great advantage and relief. Once again, many many thanks for a great product. All the very best, Clint.

Once you have finished with updating the server, will you please explain what has changed, what calls home etc? Is there ANY way a dev user can have a copy that doesn't call home at all PLEASE? It's just that we are already reliant on the UbotStudio licence server and I would prefer not to be reliant on another when creating my bots. I hope you understand, I am not trying to rip you off, I bought your all in one plugin to be able to utilise the plugins when I create a bot and if your server goes down I would not be able to do so. I know I am talking about a scenario that hasn't happene

Hi Abass, Please accept my apologies, I have no wish to offend you. I was just trying to state my feelings. As I said earlier, I have no immediate need for the plugin so I for one will not be pestering you for a quick fix. I'm sure we all appreciate the time and effort you have put into this for us and, once again, I apologise and hope there are no hard feelings. I created a licence system once, for a .net program, that read the hardware ID and instructed the user to send it to the seller, then, I, as the seller, ran it through another program which created the key using a simple linear algo

Also, I think that anyone who has paid good money for Ubot Studio are unlikely to be going to pirate your plugin, I would like to think we are more responsible than that, especially Dev licence holders Please reconsider. Does TJ protect his plugins like this?. I don't know Clint
