    Is there anyone knows how to fix chrome extension crash on portable chrome browser? it's crashing on windows server 2019.

     

    I would first test if it's works without automation. so use the portable version of chrome and load it with that extension. And see if that works.

    Then check what exception causes the crash and google that. Another idea would be to contact the extension developer to see what's going on there.

     

    I always use windows 10 for automation. Also for my VPS systems. It's way easier to just use what we all know works fine, than spending time troubleshooting server OS stuff.

    Browser are mainly tested for consumer operating systems. Not server OS.

     

    Even if the win10 virtual sytem costs $10 more, it's probably still cheaper than spending couple of hours with troubleshooting.

    Hi, I have tried external browser firefox and works good. I see is using a temp profile each time. I need extensions to have fixed into firefox when run external browser but does not appears because is temp profile.

     

    If I add manually the extensions with a timer to navigate works fine, but need to know if I can use a fixed profile with this command external browser to avoid add extensions manually on each run.

    Hi Dan,

     

    Iam getting this error for some of my users, can you help me how to resolve the issue.

    I tried to open a ticket in bot-factory, but i see only two departments in support, exbrowser, licensing requests, so iam posting here.

     

    That error means, that the downloaded file. The one you specified in your xml is not available anymore.

    Most likely that the AV software removed it.When you deploy ubot bots with it, they are very often classified as a virus, because of the encryption. 

    And some AV software remove those files. 

    So check the log of their AV software and see if it deleted that update file. 

     

    Besides that.. check what the difference is on their systems? Non windows 10 IS? Different language?

    Yes i am using portable version and when i tried to run in ubot it works only issues in compiling bot in portable firefox.

    And please update driver for latest chrome and firefox in V2 version...

     Oh. What exactly is missing with the current browser versions? Is there anything that you can't do?

    It's not necessary and possible to update EXB for every single browser version update. As long as the browser version is still new enough and everything works, that should be enough.

     

    Or what exactly you can't do right now?  And you can always install the latest version of the browser and use portable version with EXB. So that is also no problem.

    Hello i have an issue in compiling in firefox in exbrowser while in chrome when i compile it run fine... and when compile it in firefox after that exe open and when i run that exe it automatic close i tried in 3 pc same issue while in chrome it runs well..

    Using V2 verson of exbrowser.

    Please check once if anyone available here look once in his side its my end issues???

    But my guess is the browser version. Do you use the portable option? Does it work in ubot with FF and only in compiled you have problems?

    I have seen the exbrowser sales page, but i did not find how to get an xbrowser test licence, I would like to avoid to pay a full year in advance before knowing if it works for my purpose.

    I'm not the one that makes the decision on to add something or not.  That is Dan.

    I was trying to give you a solution to your issue, not knowing what your capabilities are.  Just to give you options.

     

    I have no problem going to large lists of 100k and setting settings as needed in web sites with exbrowser 

     

    Dan will have to chime in on this for you about commands that have not made it to release.

    first,  multilogin is not that stable when u have many profiles, there are even many problems when i create profiles manually .

    second , ubot is really not a good tool to control window apps, and edit fields within mulitilogin app

    third, i know api is a great choice,  and i did google it before you tell me. but make a api may be is easy for u , but not for me.  

     

    i just watch your exbrowser v2.0 info1 video again, there are create profile and delete profile commands

    Hi. Nope I didn't forget to add them. That was on purpose :-)

    I added it as an experimental option in the beta a while ago. But it doesn't make sense. 

    Because this is not a local action for ML anyways. It's a restful API call, that goes against their webservice. 

    So basically a normal HTTP post command. Which you can execute with exbrowsers http post function. 

     

    And the options and parameters are very indiduel. So what I did with that experimental command was taking the post body and then executing a http post in the background.

    There was really not any additional benefit for it to be honest. The only "work" I did there for you guys, was to extract the autuhentication token from a local file and post to the correct URL :-)

    So 30seconds of work if you do it yourself.

     

    So in their documentation you find everything:

    You can basically just execute a http post against the api and create profiles as you wish. Actually very simple.

     

    Please let me know if you really struggle with this, and I will make a tutorial. But please.. at least try 1-2 hours to figure it out yourself.

    I was using V1 from start, and ask to Dan about discount, but he said that not be fair for other users... And i buy for full price V2, and now see spam on email about discount...  Whole support, this situation about V2, it is worst service, character what i ever saw ...

    anyone success in using proxy in exbrowser firefox? 

    Sure works perfectly Fine. Proxy without authentication. Or configure a proxy with authentication in a customized FF profile. That works too. 

    Multithreading with proxy with authentication is something that is not possible. Because of a FF limitation to set proxy with authentication. This is not possible.

    There might be an extension / plugin for FF to do that, but I test that.

    How to stop a page from loading?

    Tried the solution here https://sqa.stackexchange.com/questions/5663/is-it-possible-to-stop-page-loading-on-the-browser-using-selenium-web-driver

    which will use send special key to press escape button but exbrowser is waiting for the page to load before the command get executed.

     

    The reason for this is some pages is still loading even if it's already loaded and it takes a lot of time before the exbrowser command to move on.

     

    Hi. You can not really stop it, after the page load is started. But you can change the timeout.

    There is a page load timeout option, that you could use to lower the timeout. I think default is 5min or so.

     

    Someone also told me that javascript might help "window.stop()" but I didn't test it.

    And I heard about a page load extension for chrome, where you can change timeout values as well.

     

    And for FF there are some options you can test:

    "http.response.timeout", 5

    "dom.max_script_run_time", 5
