Needbot 0
Hi, I'm sitting at work and I said to my boss that it would be a great idea to make a bot for some of the work we do. he said fine, figure out a way to do it.I searched the web for bot engiens and found UBot.But non of the guys at work or my self knows anything about makeing a bot. So, my question is:Is it possible to make a bot for clicking links in a web browser and then downloading them to a folder? (files like, jpg. pdf. and dox.) because that would really help us out I get 403'ed when i try to reply, so I'll just answer here. Yea, downloading all images and files from one site, to use them on a new site for the client. but as you know there are a lot of images and files attached to a website, and when we move them to the new domain we have to download the files and images to prevent the viewers of getting 404'ed when clicking a link to view a file or simly from being not being able to se the images attached to a newspage (for axample) Edited March 1, 2012 by Needbot

JohnB 255
Yes, you can definitely do that with UBot. In fact we have a command just for that: http://screencast.com/t/T6gB0WcbWPMR John
