what is the best way to write a script that will sequencially incrament to the next letter.

are you referring to a random list of say titles or a list of a-z and move the next one incrementing?

 

if the a-z

create a list a-z

looping through it with next list item or can set a variable before the loop and increment the variable inside the loop

what do the letters represent? you cannot increment a letter but there are other ways depending on what you are using them for,
