incrementing though a list

I have increment in the loop and create table, set variable before the loop. Now, I am not getting it to step through. Why is this? does one always need to be before the other? does one always need to be in the same loop node?

 

What is the relationship between these two commands?

Thanks LoWrIdErTJ .. after look at it and comparing it to some things that we have talked about before, I realized that the increment was not in the loop and was not doing what I expected it to.

 

while this is still like psuedo code, there are still a lot of coding laws that must be followed, so a lot of this is very new to me.
