WP POSTING UP IMAGES

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I'm now afraid that I've run into another problem, this time with the posting up of images as 'featured images' in WP

When I click 'featured images' I get another pop up box, that makes use of flash to upload images (i know that ubot doesn't support flash), so i used the move mouse command and click mouse button command, but this results in a browse box (where i have to browse for my image). Ubot does read this browse box.

So apart from flash, there is another option that says 'upload using file browser (or something). This uploading has a text box and a browse button (again to browse for the picture). However, I think it makes use of jquery so I cannot change the value of the text box to anything that i would ordinarily prefer.

Have any of you guys been able to post up pics to posts/ insert featured images in WP through ubot?

Also, how can I change the publish function in WP? What I mean is how do I click on the 'Edit" link of the Publish immediately portion? If I use the choose by attribute, it shows and then hides very quickly so that I cant see it

I use the file field mentioned above (regular variant), works fine.

I dont set it as a featured image afterwards (since i have that automated in the theme itself), but it's the same concept.

I do things differently though - I submit the post, get the post id, then navigate to the URL of the popup where I upload the image. Should work with the popup too probably, but I originally set it up this way.
