xandor 0
Hey, i asked about it around 1.5 months ago and wondered if any progress have been made on Internet Explorer pop up.Need it to work for the bot im making so hope it will be possible to press and write to those soon. Actually, it's an internet explorer pop up, not even a dialog box. Hmmm...Unfortunately there is no way to handle these right now, but Seth will be taking a look at it and seeing what we can do to combat it in the future. Also please tell me if its any way to handle those even if it isnt the intended way.
IRobot 43
Have you tried: 1. the Close All Dialogs command?or2. Ubot > File > Preferences > Block popups? If still not working, do you have an example URL?

The IE popup is on vBulletin forum at the attach image button.

xandor 0
Well the other thing you can do is get the url of the popup and then navigate to it, I do this all the time.. Praney Good idea, think that will work.Where do i find the url of the popup?Tried checking attributes of the button but nothing there, tried checking in the html code for the website <td><div class="imagebutton" id="vB_Editor_001_cmd_insertimage"><img src="images/blue/editor/insertimage.gif" width="21" height="20" alt="Insert Image" /></div></td>Thats where the button is but i cant find the link. When i press the button i think half the url show but i cant resize the popup window so cant see the entire url. Can you describe how you can see the url of the popup?I will also need to navigate to it in a child window or something so i dont navigate away from the page im viewing, remember i read something about it but cant remember where or how. IRobot 43
If it's a javascript popup, I don't think it will have a URL. I will also need to navigate to it in a child window or something so i dont navigate away from the page im viewing, remember i read something about it but cant remember where or how.Use run subwindow.
Praney Behl 314
I think click the link and when the popup opens up just take the popup url ...
xandor 0
Found the "in sub window" but still cant find the url. Attached a file of the popup, its not showing the url anywhere there except possibly in the bottom left corner of the popup but the popup is small so cant see it. IRobot 43
I don't think that (javascript) popup will have a URL, as it's triggered by the code in the VB editor.

Ok, so then i wont be able to navigate to it with a subwindow?Still without a solution then.
