Bookmarking Automation Bot Needed

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have created a website where people bookmark each other's urls. However, it's automatic, and to get as many unique ip addresses bookmarking each url I need a uBot that people run on their computers.

What I need is 2 bots.

The first bot has 2 UI text boxes for the username and password of my site. Then it creates a Yahoo account, stores the username and password, and goes to my site to input the username, password and {username}@yahoo.com. With that username, password and email address, the bot then creates accounts with this list of bookmarking sites:

People will have to deal with captchas manually. But everything else should be automated.

BOT 2

This bot also has two UI boxes (one for my site's username and password). The bot logs into the membership area, goes to the encrypted scrape page, scrapes all the titles, descriptions, urls and tags, stores them all to a list, then publishes them all to each of the bookmarking sites.

The bot will have to figure out if the user is already logged in or not. It needs to deal with captchas too, if they are asked for.

After this is complete the bot will go back to the scrape page, click the button at the bottom of the page (to confirm all the urls have been bookmarked to all the sites) then the user will be able to post thier personal links to submission manually.

Can anyone do this?

Thanks,

Tim

The website gives each user unique urls to bookmark, so each bookmark, and each user's sites are done by as many unique ips as possible. All the bot does is scrape the data and submit it.

Thanks,

Tim

What your website does if bot does everything? :)

I started building something like this. I was hoping to turn this into a group project somewhere. Start with the same template and everyone adds a few bookmarking sites to the project. The next question is: is it worth it to have a bot churning out bookmarks 24/7? I'm not seeing that much love from Google on my webmaster tools from bookmarking sites.

Aaron Nimocks already did a tutorial on doing an auto registration bot via Yahoo's mobile email. That's done. I've already created Ubot scripts for about 8 of these sites already.

Hey nice one biks,

I am working on the biggie too...

It has more than 600 different types of sites.. Its too much work with that.. Will see how Ubot handles it.

I am on 158th at the moment and it has slowed down a bit..

Trying to work out how to fasten it, but I think I'll get there..

Cheers!

Praney :)
