UBot Underground

Coder needed for Google Places Project

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

I'm looking for a smart UBot coder who can create the following bots (and probably more to follow). This project relates to Google Places, and we are looking to automate the process of posting reviews and generating citations from other sites for a large number of Google Places listings.

1. Review Bot

This bot will pick an account at random from a list of around 1000 Google accounts, log in, then select a random spun title and spun comment from a spinnable comment list. It will also select a rating between three and five stars, and then post the review.

This process will be repeated, working through a list of Google places listings. However, the postings need to appear natural and random in nature, with no more than one review per listing per day. Scheduling would be awesome.

2. Citations Bot

One of the most important elements in improving Google Places rankings is getting citations. That is, mentions of your business listing in authority directories such as Superpages, InfoUSA, Yellow Pages. The critical point here is that each citation should, if possible, be identical in format to the listing in Google Places (especially name, address, phone number)

We are looking to create a bot to automate the process of registering "businesses" with these directories. To put it simply, we want something similar to universalbusinesslisting.org - but cheaper and faster!

Initially, we would want the bot to register each listing with these sites (where practical)

InfoUSA

Yellow Pages

Localeze

Yelp

Yahoo Local

Superpages

CitySearch

Insider Pages

(More could be added later as a separate project)

If it is possible to social bookmark the listings when they are done, that would be fantastic. Ideally, the bot should deal with email confirmations as required, etc. The bot should return a log of successes and failures at the end of the run.

If we can get these working, then there is the potential for further work to follow. I'm prepared to pay a little extra for quality work.

Rob
