sputnik13 12
Ok so my uBot fails in IE8 - in the uBot studio. Fails in IE when tested maually. Works in iMacros w/ FF3x and works in FF3.x when manually processed. Its a simple freakin reCaptcha widget on a social community platform. When the $captcha is sent to the widget and the submit is sent ... it fails with a please provide correct email address. When done in firefixautomated with iMac or manually - site runs just fine ... what in the blue blazes could be wrong with my IE 8 settings or ... the website to give me this grief. [ i never use IE6-7 or 8 until today when firing up the old uBot I forgot I had ... why?
alcr 135
Did you try activating the fields with crazyflx's guide?
sputnik13 12
Sorry bro - obvious noob here. I look for his guide. However - i think it very well may be a site incompatability with with IE8 ? Perhaps soemthing in the way IE submits the email addy and the pwd need to look n see thx
sputnik13 12
OK I went here http://ubotstudio.com/forum/index.php?/topic/3003-making-sure-fields-are-activated/page__hl__crazyflx%20activate%20fields__fromsearch__1 Anyhow - I dont believe this to be the issue as it fails in a non uBot induced IE8 browser when I do the log in and captcha manually as well - no bot
sputnik13 12
OK - did a few more tests and it does work in IE8 manually now - will try the sendkeys tricks etc ... I suspect I want to do this this to the recaptcha widget fields - or all of the signup fields?
alcr 135
I can pretty much only guess if you don't post the URL to the page

sputnik13 12
No problem. But decaptcher sub with error handling? I don't think I follow you. Cryptic I am - once more. Sorry. I want to create a bot for my customers who have hit a wall with imacros because of captcha. Id like to make a bot that will have a sub routine/script [ sub ? ] - test for the presence of captcha - if captcha present test if user selected beatcaptchas of decaptcher ---- if decaptcher = true - run decaptcher sub - if decaptcher... submit the captcha image to decaptcher -- if success with decaptcher - next step -- if fail at decaptcher - resubmit new image -- if fail again - resubmit final time -- if fail 3rd time - add sites root url to a list to get written to .csv for later -- if 3rd fail - move on to next site in list - if success with decaptcher on 1st/2nd/3rd attempt - move to next step - register at site ---- if beatcaptcha or ITT or ???? = true - ... submit the captcha image to beatcaptcha -- if success with beatcaptcha - next step -- if fail at beatcaptcha - resubmit new image -- if fail again - resubmit final time -- if fail 3rd time - add sites root url to a list to get written to .csv for later -- if 3rd fail - move on to next site in list However; Im now concerned after doing some forum reading - that compiled subs are currently "hosed"- is this still the case? Im on uBot studio 3.
alcr 135
Yeah thats no problem to make subs like that - thats the way most people use UBot right now. Subs does work in compiled, but not subwindows. So you don't have to worry.
