jadsn 1
Im working on my first bot and needed help with the $random list item. I have a list loaded up in .txt and try to have it entered in a search with random, but it always pulls in just the first item on the list. It happens if I do the next item also. I followed Tutorial 5 at http://ubotstudio.com/tutorials.aspx exactly, and same thing happens. If anyone can help please do. I was wondering if it was just me or a bug or something. Thanks

Ok I made a replica of the tutorial. edit: when it runs with 1st creating the list, the random list item works. But if I change the text manually to letters, then it doesn't worknext list tutorial.ubot
jadsn 1
still trying to figure this out.. when I enter a list of 1 to 20 manually, it thinks that there is nothing in it, however when the program makes the same list, it can read from it. I feel like im missing a step, but I wonder why this isn't working.
bluegoat 24
I haven't watched that tutorial yet, but from what I can tell from your exampleyour missing a couple things. To start with, you need to add a "clear list" to the beginning of your bot. Also, in the first script, you need to add an "add to list >> list from file" command.

What I made was what they made from the video step by step. Im not sure what the exact problem was, but I have it working now. Thanks for checking out and helping though.
