blackadder 0
Hi All.. Looking at getting ubot in the next few days, was just wondering if ubot can be used to connect to api's ? such as ebay/amazon/cj etc Also ive been reading the forums and seen the mention of multi-threading and just wondered when this would be available? Frank 177
I can only talk to the threading. I was chatting with a tech today and right now, no threading is not available. But there is rumors of it coming soon. Frank
greencat 18
If the APIs can be accessed via JavaScript then you should have no problems - Ubot can run Javascript. You also have access to the shell. The big problem with at least some of the examples (Amazon) you give is that they now require requests to be authenticated and working out how to hide your secret key in Javascript might be tricky (not impossible but a real pain). You are probably better off getting a PHP script to the grunt work and have Ubot interface with that - or (and this is what Ubot is excellent at) scraping the data directly from the sites.
