keyuramins 1
Has anyone experienced such a problem of people complaining of browser warning. I get the error---- > “Software Name” is not commonly downloaded and could be dangerous. This is the error I get in chrome. Is there any workaround to ensure the browsers do not show such errors to the buyers?

Bot-Factory 602
I'm only getting the warning in Google Chrome on Windows. It's not happening with Chrome on MacOS. You should run the files through:https://www.virustotal.com/ You will see that there are a couple of false positives.I'm not sure if that's because of the licensing system or because of other DLLs you use in your bot. But I'm getting the same warning with one of my new bots. It might be a good idea to submit the download URL to google for review:https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/3258249https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/168328 Dan

keyuramins 1
Hey Dan I have changed some settings in S3 as follows and it didn't showed me any warning. 1. Selected the Zip folder in S32. Click on Properties3. Click on Details.4. Change Storage Class from Standard to 'Reduced Redundancy'5. Change Server Side Encryption from None to AES-256 This has helped me to eliminate the warning, at-least when I tried myself. May be you could check the link yourself (I have already PMed you earlier) and see how it goes. EDIT: Ooops, I clicked on the link after a minute or so and it gave me the warning again....I searched on the net and people are suggesting to get .exe file signed and time stamped. No idea how many of us have done this! Edited March 23, 2014 by keyuramins
automaton 2
I was having this issue, but it seems to have mostly gone away since i started delivering my compiled bots inside a zipped setup program. I use Inno Script Studio (which is free). Now I can even send the zipped file over Facebook if I want...which I couldnt with just a zipped .exe file. Inno is super easy to learn to use, and like I said it is free...also looks much more professional I think. Hope this helps!
vonnch 1
You might also want to check your content type. Is it Content-Type: application/x-zip-compressed? It should be Content-Type: application/zip

I have installed Inno Script Studio, but I think there is a bit of learning curve which I will have to go through. You might also want to check your content type.
