Keyboard Shortcuts in UI possible?

Searched around already but didn't manage to find anything.

 

Is it possible to create a keyboard shortcut, and then then bind a function to it in the UI?

 

Example if i loaded a username from a csv, the username shows in the ui (i know how to do all that)

but if i press delete on the keyboard, (bit that i'm stuck at) 

then a function would run that would delete the record (ok about this bit)

I don't think this is a feature yet but it would be nice to have this. Instead of clicking, keyboard short cut will prove to be more flexible.
